16 CFR Part 1634 Flammability Test to Upholstered furniture–Test Content:

 Cover Materials (cigarette test)－Type I upholstered furniture

         Description: When the sample does not contain a Interior fire-barrier material, take this test

         Interior fire-barrier material (Cigarette test and Open flame test)－Type II upholstered furniture

         Description: When a sample containing a Interior fire-barrier material, take this test

 
16 CFR Part 1634 Flammability Test to Upholstered furniture–Specimen Requirements：

 Covers: Vertical panels:30 PCS with its size 203 × 432 mm (8.0 × 17.0 in),

         and horizontal panels:30 PCS with its size 203 × 280 mm (8.0 × 11.0 in).
 
          -   Interior fire-barrier material:

         1）Cigarette test: Interior fire-barrier material: Vertical panels: 30pcs 203 x 356 mm (8.0 x 14.0 in) and horizontal panels: 30pcs 203 x 229 mm (8.0 x 9.0 in).
 
         2）Open flame test: 30 pcs,1020 x 700 ± 10 mm (40 x 27.5 ± 0.4 in)
