AS/NZS 4088.1:Fire test to Upholstery materials for furniture Standard Brief：
This Standard specifies testing and performance requirements for the ignitability of filling and covering materials used in upholstered furniture intended for use in domestic situations.
Covering and filling materials are tested either individually or, if actual composites, together using a smouldering source.
The requirements cover accidental application of a smouldering ignition source but not deliberate acts of vandalism.

AS/NZS 4088.1:Fire test to Upholstery materials for furniture - Test Method
AS 4088.1 specifies testing and performance requirements for the ignitability of filling and covering materials. The test method is AS 3744.1.
AS/NZS 4088.1:Fire test to Upholstery materials for furniture - Sample required:
Cover fabric test: 2 pieces in the size of 650X800 mm
Interliner test (if applicable): 2 pieces in the size of 650X800 mm.
Filling Materials: 2 pieces in the size of 450X300X75mm and 2 pieces in the size of 450X150X75mm.
Actual Composite Filling and Covering Materials:
Cover Fabric or interliner: Two piece cover and interliner(if appropriate) respectively in the size of 650X800mm.
Filling: 2 pieces in the size of 450X300X75mm and 2 pieces in the size of 450X150X75mm.
