This document aims to define a method for reaction to fire tests used for:

> tight fitting flexible wall and ceiling coatings of any thickness
> flexible filtering media of any thickness
NF P 92-503 Fire test to Building materials - Principle：
The test involves submitting, under defined conditions, the test pieces to the action of:
> heat radiation
> hot gases sweeping the surface of the test pieces
If require, a pilot flame is used to cause the inflammation of the pyrolysis gas.
The time to inflammation, the persistence of the flame, the nature and the effects of combustion are noted.
