Foam Techniques Ltd, the experts in the manufacture of flexible foam and rubber products, have finished the year on yet another high by securing another new contract with Europe’s largest white goods manufacturer.
The contract awarded, due to the company’s excellent supply record, is worth in excess of €2 million and covers the supply of seals, gaskets, insulation and other safety-critical components to the group’s European factories. Won against global competition, the company says “contracts of this type are a testament to our company’s forward-thinking approach and our staff’s exceptional hard work, commitment and dedication”.
Against the backdrop of tough economic times, Foam Techniques’ recent significant investments in plant and equipment plus the company’s focus on staff training, have allowed it to remain competitive in markets both at home and abroad. The outcome - winning a number of significant new contracts in 2012 and helping it to achieve record sales levels while celebrating a 25 year milestone in business.
With a focus on quality and a range of new and exciting specialist cellular foam materials, the company is preparing for the future, Vinay Relan, Executive Chairman and Managing Director, said “contracts like this secure the foundation and help to propel us towards our growth plans for the coming year. You can never take any one customer for granted and this new contract continues the company’s focused growth pattern”.
Joint Managing Director, Neil Blythe commented that the successes of this year were down to several factors, including a review of sales and marketing strategies, addition of specially developed performance foams and adding to what is an already comprehensive range, which is second to none in Europe. This being backed up by a motivated sales team reacting quickly to enquiries and a committed team of people behind them converting orders, more often than not required at short notice to the highest quality.
Foam Techniques’ story of success is proof that British manufacturing remains at the forefront of quality and development. Forward thinking and continued investment in the latest equipment ensures we stay competitive on a national and international level, delivering to our customers the products they need to remain at the forefront of their own markets.
