Demilec recently released an innovative new spray polyurethane foaminsulation and air seal that conforms with state and local buildingcode requirements and also complies with stringent VOC standards forhomes, offices and schools. DEMILEC APX(R) is a low density sprayfoam used to insulate and air seal homes, schools and buildings andmeets the rigorous fire test standard established by theInternational Code Council Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) for use inattics without a protective fire coating.
In addition to superior fire performance, DEMILEC APX(R) also passedthe rigorous Berkeley Analytical VOC test in accordance with section01350 of the California Department of Public Health / EnvironmentalHealth Laboratory Branch (CDPH/EHLB) using method V1.1. BerkeleyAnalytical is an independent, third-party laboratory specializing inthe analysis of organic chemicals emitted by and contained inbuilding products, finishes, furniture, and consumer products, andare an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory.
DEMILEC APX(R) has been independently evaluated by the ICC-ES andissued Evaluation Service Report ESR-3470.
