Huntsman Corporation announced the release of a Spanish language manual, "Storage, Handling, Distribution and Use of Polyurethane Chemicals," to support customers in our Latin American markets.
This manual is the latest in Huntsman Polyurethanes' extensive line of product stewardship guidance documents and manuals. It is designed to help customers worldwide by giving them the tools and knowledge needed to safely handle the chemicals that they purchase from Huntsman, available in their local language. "Storage, Handling, Distribution and Use of Polyurethane Chemicals" answers commonly asked questions pertaining to the implementation of effective product stewardship processes and practices.
"Huntsman is dedicated to minimizing the potential hazards and risks associated with the manufacture, use, and disposal of isocyanates and polyols," said Steve Burns, Vice President, Americas, Huntsman Polyurethanes. "Our long-standing commitment to product stewardship is just one way that we help customers and suppliers understand the potential environmental, health and safety challenges relating to our chemicals and to the polyurethanes products that they make."
Huntsman published an English language version of the manual in 2011, and is working to translate additional product stewardship guidance documents and manuals. Spanish language materials will serve as a valuable resource for Huntsman's customers throughout Latin America.
