Spheretex (Hilden, Germany), a producer of laminate bulkers, specialty core and reinforcement materials to the composites industry, announced on July 9 the signing of an exclusive distribution agreement for the U.S. and Canada with Carbon-Core Corp. (Ruckersville, Va., USA) to represent the Spheretex product line in North America.
Under the terms of the agreement, Carbon-Core Corp. will also provide service, training and technical support for Spheretex North American customers. To ensure availability and reduce transit time, Spheretex America Inc. will relocate its warehousing operations from Florida to Virginia, from where, Spheretex says, 80 percent of the U.S. can be serviced within two days.
