Revolution Composites (Norwood, Mass., USA) reported on July 25 that it has been assessed and approved by National Quality Assurance U.S.A. for ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100 Rev. C certification.
Revolution Composites specializes in the braiding and molding (resin transfer molding, vacuum-assisted resin transfer molding) of carbon, glass, aramid, and ceramic fibers for the aerospace, defense, and medical markets. Revolution Composites is a supplier of production flight hardware and development services to multiple OEMs and Tier 1/2 suppliers such as Northrop Grumman, and is an approved supplier to GE Aviation and Raytheon.
“We are pleased that we have achieved this certification with no findings in a relatively short time,” says Tim Reardon, director of quality and one of the founders of Revolution Composites. "The AS9100 Rev. C certification is the standard for which suppliers in this industry are measured, and it reflects the efforts and commitments our employees have made to deliver quality products that exceed our customer’s expectations. As we continue to grow, we will continue to increase our quality standards to meet the needs of the industry.”
