"This will increase business on engines by 20 percent within the next three years," says Marshall Olger, vice president sales and product development. Olger says it took four years to obtain the certification. "It took a team of people," he says, including a couple of visits to China with Jeff Hansen, quality manager.
Also, Phoenix employees, including Jill Brown, engine operations and planning manager, worked on building a repair station manual to meet CAAC specifications. The new certification is expected to increase business and create jobs because, says Olger, Phoenix will be able to perform work for customers who sell to China, as well.
