Quatro Composites specializes in designing and fabricating advanced composite structures for commercial aerospace, unmanned aerial vehicles and medical equipment manufacturers around the world. The company’s recent growth has been driven by several contracts from aerospace suppliers to produce carbon fiber composite structures for the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The increased manufacturing space will allow Quatro to take on additional new business opportunities for other manufacturers, as well.
The expansion adds approximately 45,000-ft2/4,180m2 and nearly doubles the size of Quatro’s corporate and manufacturing facilities. Quatro says 85 of the 99 jobs expected to be created as a result of the expansion have already been filled.
“Quatro’s dramatic growth is a direct reflection our employees,” notes Roesner. “Thanks to their hard work and innovative thinking, we have been able to achieve something special.”
The expansion was made possible, in part, by $1.5 million in direct financial assistance from the Iowa Economic Department Authority (IEDA).
