SPF products, containing unreacted diisocyanates, are among three priority products named for tighter controls under California’s Safer Consumer Products Regulation (CW 13 March 2014).
The Coalition, an American Chemistry Council group, will present the “solid scientific data, regarding the inclusion of unreacted diisocyanates” at a public workshop on 7 May in Sacramento. The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) is holding the workshop to gather input on the priority products list.
