The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance jointly released their plan on robotic industry development (2016-2020) Wednesday.
"This five-year-plan focuses heavily on key parts of technology and breakthroughs in high-end products which the domestic robot industry lacks," said Guo Xuan, vice president of Yichuang Smart Robot Industry Research Institute.
The planning showed that China will focus on developing ten signature products in the robotic industry which have high added-value and a promising market demand.
