Rigid PU Foam Future Still Unknown on Weak Fridge Market

 According to new statistics, the first half of this year saw sales of China home appliance market reaching 61.23 billions, rising by 12.8% in comparison with that of last year. Sales value growth rate slipped by 11.1% versus that of same period of last year. Home appliance sales recorded about 1200 billions in 2011, growing by more than 10%. While sales rose only by 2% in the first half of this year depressed by the government policy and weak demands.

Upward trend of fridge and cold chain logistic market has stimulated the consumption of rigid foam composite materials. This year frozen insulation industry is expected to consume more than 340,000tons rigid PU foam composite materials, 27400tons of which would be used in fridge industry while 79000tons would be consumed by freezers industry. Rigid PU foam producers remained helpless faced with the insipid fridge market in 2011.

Many rigid PU foam producers are concerned with the prospect of the fridge industry in the late of this year.
