One producer confirmed meeting competitive offers at a rollover. Other polymer sources said that
Producers have nominated price increases of 5 cents/lb for November, 6 cents/lb for December and 7 cents/lb for January, but demand has not been supportive of recent price increase initiatives. In October producers also had a 5 cents/lb price hike on the table and in the end prices fell 5 cents/lb.
At a rollover, domestic delivered HDPE blow molding and LLDPE contracts for mid-size buyers were heard at 63-64 cents/lb.
