Diverse Urethanes is one of the three divisions of Urochem and a manufacturer and provider of a wide selection of customized polyurethane systems that designs and produces special products for the mining industry, coatings with spray, boat filling, rigid foam, office furniture, elastomers and other types of specialty polyurethane systems. All the products marketed by Diverse Urethanes are manufactured in adequately equipped facilities in order to be compliant with the existing standards and regulations.
Alf has served in the polyurethane industry for nearly 15 years in the fields of product development and product application. Alf is simultaneously serving as a partner while maintaining his responsibilities in the actual production of polyurethane systems. Whilst sustaining his dual status, of owner and chemistry specialist, Alf is responsible for supervising daily operations, production and business development as well as creating marketing strategies. His employment of the benefits of his technical education and specialized practice together with his leadership abilities and communication skills, help Alf achieve goals for his clients by providing the best quality for both products and services. Personally, Alf’s interests include photography, nature and fishing.
With an Honors Degree in Chemistry from the Technikon Witwatersrand, Alf obtained the necessary theoretical knowledge to embark on his road to chemistry related technologies. He worked in research development and production management for nearly 30 years. Consequently, Alf is now not only a specialist in several technological processes but he is actively involved in management strategies and techniques.
