Flexible PPG Industry Recovered with Increasing Operation Rates

Flexible PPG is the largest classified area and it is widely applied in sofa, mattress, pillow, seats used in automobile, train and airplane, packaging materials and sound absorption and sound-proof material. There are about 10000 flexible PPG enterprises except a few large enterprises while small and large enterprises while mainly concentrates in Guangdong, Hebei and Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces.

PU flexible PPG industry has its own characteristics with winter and summer being the slack season while Spring and autumn being the peak season. So small and mid sized flexible PPG producers stopped production and have holiday after twelfth months of lunar month. Small and mid sized plants were shut down for holiday. It restarted following Spring Festival and operation peak is in the next Lantern Festival while this year is not the case. Both the operation rate and raw material purchasing interest were not satisfying. China, as a large producer of mattress, sofa and pillow is largely orders from foreign countries. European debt was in peak period and US economy is also not positive. Production of flexible PPG is labor intensive industry. some small factory even use manual foaming. Some flexible PPG companies put off production and orders.

No doubt flexible PPG is in operation rate increase and recovery period while with a slow pace.
