RWP-1250100 is a premium insulation product - made from volcanic rock melted at high temperatures and spun into a mat or batt of fine fibres.

Rock wool only burns at temperatures in excess of 850 celsius so in effect is very resistant to fire so can provide a fire barrier for your roof, walls or floor.

The other main benefit of Rockwool is that is about 4 times more dense than fibreglass insulation so has much better acoustic properties. So is often used when insulation requires both acoustic & thermal properties.
