Properties: Melamine modified APP is a flame retardant based on phosphorus /nitrogen synergism, free formaldehyde.
Melamine modified ammonium polyphosphate is different from APP in the following properties:
-Reduce solubility in water;
-Reduce viscosity in water;
-Obviously improve dispersibility and compatibility with polymers and resins;
-Increase fluidity of powder;
-Improve thermal expansion efficiency during inflaming retarding process and insulation performance.
Uses:
It can be used for all applications that ammonium polyphosphate is suitable. They are more fine than APP. It can be used in waterproof outdoor swelling coatings, and can be used in the foaming in 300°C or less.

-All kinds of polymers (sunproof, waterproof, or fireproof);

-Epoxy resin and unsaturated resin;
