A polyurethane coating for laminate wood developed by Bayer MaterialScience (BMS) and Assyx GmbH & Co KG has weather-proofed the viewing platform of the Forum Confluentes arts complex in Koblenz central square, Germany.
Developed from the fully-closed polyurethane integral skin foam system Baydur, the collaboration utilised DuroConstruct to provide a polyurethane coating on the roof terrace.
The production process for DuroBoard base boards is fully automated and they weigh significantly less than alternative solutions said a BMS press release.
