A supercar chiselled out of the rigid polyurethane spray foam-covered shell of an old Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class has prompted a flurry of media interest this month.
The process, was undertaken some years ago in spite of the current interest around the methods employed.
It is unclear which particular brand or type of foam is being used for the novel refurbishment project, a link in the article as it appears at Global Flare shows a Dow product in an aerosol can but the photographs appear to suggest the foam has been mixed by the Lithuanian’s own hand rather than an off-the-shelf product.
The YouTube video documenting the process has been viewed nearly 12,000 times.
